Job Summary
Currently recruiting retired Law Enforcement Officers only, to help provide armed Security for a local house of worship and its congregation. Must be able to work Sundays between the hours of 5:00 am and 5:00 pm. We are seeking a Retired Law Enforcement Officer to join our team! As a Retired Law Enforcement Officer, you will work closely with house of worship members, visitors, and staff at large by protecting people and property. You will also be recording information on incidents, rendering basic assistance to anyone in need. The ideal candidate is empathetic, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to make decisions in stressful or fast-paced situations.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to warranted incidents
  • Assist the public by rendering first aid or protecting both people and property
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to stay calm and in control during stressful or difficult situations
  • Retired from an accredited law enforcement agency
  • Must possess a valid Maryland State Security Officer license or be willing to obtain such license
  • Must possess a Maryland State Police license for concealed carry weapon (CCW) or be willing to obtain such license
