What are part time remote jobs?

Part time remote jobs are positions that allow employees to work fewer hours than a full-time schedule—typically less than 30-35 hours per week—from a location outside the traditional office, such as their home or another remote location. These jobs span various industries, including customer service, writing, tech support, and data entry. Part time remote roles offer flexibility in terms of work hours and location, making them popular among students, parents, and those seeking work-life balance. Employers may require regular check-ins or set work schedules, but the key benefit is the ability to complete job tasks without commuting to a physical office. These positions often utilize digital tools for communication and collaboration.

The right candidate is organized, collaborative, detail-focused, and comfortable working within established brand systems while applying strong design judgment. We are seeking someone who is consistently available 5 hours per day ( 9 to 2 EST), and who is located in the Eastern Standard time zone in order to coordinate internal and external meetings and deadlines. All candidates will be asked to provide a link to their portfolio, professional references, and confirmation of their scheduling availability. We look forward to hearing from you.

  • Manage design updates, revisions, and ongoing brand-related projects
  • Create motion graphics, animations, and video edits for digital content
  • Support the development of social media assets, including short-form video and animated content
  • Assist with website and digital design projects using Figma
  • Collaborate with creative leadership and project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
  • Maintain organized files and follow established creative workflows

Requirements

    • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
    • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, composition, and visual hierarchy
    • Ability to work within established brand guidelines with accuracy and consistency
    • Strong production skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
      • Adobe Illustrator
      • Adobe Photoshop
      • Adobe InDesign
      • Adobe After Effects and/or Premiere Pro
    • Experience creating motion graphics, animations, and video edits
    • Proficiency in Figma for digital design, collaboration, and presentation
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment
    • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with a remote team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an agency or fast-paced creative environment
  • Experience supporting established brands and large-scale marketing campaigns
  • Understanding of digital design systems and responsive web design
  • Experience preparing files for print production
  • Knowledge of animation principles and video storytelling
  • Ability to identify design or production issues before they impact timelines
