Program Action Officer
The Opportunity:
Booz Allen is seeking a highly driven Program Action Officer to provide direct, day-to-day support to a USN Government Program Manager within a fast-paced Department of the Navy (DoN) mission area. This role is execution-focused: you will coordinate across stakeholders, generate staff products, track actions and deliverables, and keep program activities synchronized on behalf of the PM. The ideal candidate brings strong Department of War (DOW)/DON and acquisition experience, understands tactical data and sensor-integration environments, and excels at producing polished, senior-ready outputs while managing complex operational and technical details.
The real impact of project management comes from communication to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards. At Booz Allen, we recognize that we must continuously grow as a team to bring the best support to our clients, so here you'll have all the resources to succeed. This is a chance to influence a meaningful mission while learning how to develop and maintain program strategy.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience supporting DoW or DON missions
  • 3+ years of experience in DON acquisition
  • Knowledge of tactical data flows, sensor integration, and/or connected military operations
  • Ability to produce senior-level staff documents and manage multi-stakeholder coordination
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in the Navy or Marine Corps in uniform
  • 5+ years of experience with the Intelligence Community
  • Experience as a military staff action officer
  • Experience supporting Joint Staff, Combatant Command, NAVSEA, or cross-Service integration
  • Knowledge of military targeting architecture
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree from a Senior Service War College

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
