Job description

Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator
Location: Stafford, VA (Occasional travel to Norfolk, VA)
Job Summary/Purpose: The Gemini 3 Group (G3G) is seeking a full-time Junior Systems Administrator (Jr Sys Admin) to support the G3G Corporate office in Stafford, VA. The Jr Sys Admin will support the G3G IT infrastructure including networks and IT equipment. This role maintains system reliability, security, and provides technical support to G3G employees.
Note: This position will also be a backup for a SharePoint Support position that is in Norfolk, VA that supports the Navy. Backup support is estimated to be for one week at a time, 3 times a year. Travel expenses to Norfolk will be paid by G3G.
Essential Responsibilities/Functions:
  • Collaborate with third party managed services company on day to day network management
  • Monitor network performance
  • Manage user accounts and permissions
  • Perform updates and backups to all IT equipment
  • Support networking tasks
  • Maintain documentation including CMMC 2.0 documentation
  • Assist with cybersecurity practices
  • Support cloud services
  • Remain current on the latest SharePoint best practices and policies
  • Develop and maintain the G3G SharePoint Online internal website
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint flows using Power Automate
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to understand and contribute to the strategic goals and objectives of G3G.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying problems, understanding business needs, and developing effective solutions for the customer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with the customer, document requirements, and present findings.

Required Education, Licenses and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in supporting IT in an office environment, SharePoint development, and workflow management.
  • Security Clearance Requirements: Active Secret Clearance
