Qualifications:
  • Possession of baccalaureate or higher degree in a specific content area
  • Valid Ohio License
  • Required criminal background check
  • Meets USCIS I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification

Reports To: Superintendent/Designee
This is a vendor contract as needed by an InnevAto EDU partner school district. The school district has the option to add an InnevAto EDU teacher of record to the service contract / MOU. This teacher will be hired through the Fairfield County ESC. These teachers will be highly qualified and will teach, support and evaluate all students in an online course.
Performance Responsibilities:
  1. Successfully complete an online "Best Practices of Online Teaching" professional development course prior to or within the first week of teaching the course. Training will be provided by the FCESC.
  2. Publish and evaluate no less than 90% of the InnevAto EDU course content.
  3. Communicate with students via the most efficient method (i.e., LMS, telephone, email, face-to-face, video conferencing, etc.) on a regular basis.
  4. Monitor students and intervene when a student is inactive for more than one week.
  5. Monitor and engage in any online discussions within the course.
  6. Evaluate student submissions. Provide student-specific feedback for all lessons.
  7. Maintaining records on student progress/grades.
  8. Create a partnership with each students' home district and communicate/collaborate in a manner that best fits the students' needs.
  9. Provide additional support and intervention to the student, when needed, and to communicate with parents/guardians, guidance counselors, and other stakeholders (especially if a student is not making adequate progress and/or is at risk of failing the course).
  10. Participate in quality assurance discussions and provide feedback regarding the instructional design and ability to effectively deliver the course with the InnevAto EDU leadership team.
  11. Attend and engage in professional development and one-on-one sessions and apply learning to the course development support process

  14. Undertakes continuing professional study including participation in the activities of professional organizations, enrollment in university level classes, and personal investigation of current literature pertaining to children with disabilities.
  15. Attends in-service training sessions, as assigned by Fairfield County ESC Supervisor or Superintendent/Designee.
  16. Complies with policies and procedures established by the Fairfield County ESC and the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.

Compensation: starting at $125 per student, per semester
