Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the full school year, offering the opportunity to support approximately 30 students in a school-based setting. This 0.5 FTE role operates on a 1099 independent contractor basis, providing flexibility and autonomy while maintaining connection with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services aligned with student needs and IEP goals
  • Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments, preparing detailed evaluation reports
  • Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and maintain precise documentation
  • Participate in IEP, eligibility, and school team meetings
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers
  • Supervise and provide clinical guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state licensure and special education requirements
  • Maintain clear communication with school and clinical support teams

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Speech-Language Pathologist license valid in the applicable state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required
  • Experience with school-based evaluations and IEP development
  • Prior supervisory experience of an SLPA preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual environment
