Part Time Remote Nurse information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Part Time Remote Nurse, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Part Time Remote Nurse, you need a current RN license, strong clinical judgment, and experience in telehealth or remote care settings. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication tools is typically required. Excellent time management, self-motivation, and clear communication skills are essential for working independently and supporting patients remotely. These competencies ensure high-quality patient care, effective virtual collaboration, and adherence to healthcare regulations in a remote environment.

How do part-time remote nurses typically collaborate with on-site healthcare teams to ensure continuity of patient care?

Part-time remote nurses often work closely with on-site healthcare professionals by utilizing secure communication platforms, such as electronic health records (EHRs), telehealth software, and regular virtual meetings. They share patient updates, coordinate medication management, and discuss care plans with physicians and other nurses to maintain high standards of care. Effective collaboration requires strong digital communication skills and the ability to document accurately, ensuring that all team members are informed and aligned in patient care efforts.

What does a part time remote nurse do?

A part time remote nurse provides healthcare services to patients using telehealth technology from a location outside of a traditional medical facility. Their responsibilities may include conducting virtual patient assessments, offering health education, managing chronic conditions, and coordinating care with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Working remotely, these nurses must have strong communication skills and be comfortable using digital health platforms. Many positions offer flexible schedules, making it an appealing option for nurses seeking work-life balance. Remote nursing roles can be found in areas such as triage, case management, and patient follow-up.

How to make an extra $2000 a month as a nurse?

Part-time remote nurses can increase their income by taking on additional shifts, working for multiple healthcare platforms, or offering specialized telehealth services. Developing in-demand skills and obtaining relevant certifications can also help qualify for higher-paying opportunities and freelance consulting roles.

Job description

AlediumHR is partnering with a forward-thinking telehealth organization that is redefining how men and women manage their health. Through expert clinical care and modern technology, this group is transforming hormone optimization, preventative medicine, and performance-based wellness nationwide.

This is not a generalist telehealth role. This is for experienced nurse practitioners who understand hormone therapy and want to practice at a high level.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced, licensed Nurse Practitioners with at least 1 year of Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) experience for both men and women.

These are both part-time and full-time availability. Providers work remotely and deliver high-impact care through a structured, technology-enabled telehealth model.

Licensing Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
  • Active NP license in a minimum of 5-10+ U.S. states

  • California, Texas, New York, and Colorado licenses are in demand

  • Active, unrestricted DEA license

  • Ability to prescribe and manage controlled substances in compliance with federal and state regulations
Required Clinical Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on Hormone Replacement Therapy experience

  • Experience treating both male and female patients

  • Comfort managing testosterone therapy, estrogen/progesterone therapy, adjunct wellness medications, and ongoing lab monitoring
  • Strong understanding of endocrine health, preventative care, and optimization protocols
What You'll Do
  • Conduct structured virtual consultations for men and women seeking hormone optimization and wellness care
  • Review labs, diagnose hormone imbalances, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Initiate and manage HRT protocols, including appropriate prescribing and follow-up
  • Provide patient education on risks, benefits, and long-term care strategies
  • Maintain thorough, compliant documentation within telehealth platforms

  • Collaborate with a clinical and administrative support team to ensure a seamless patient experience
Work Environment

This is a specialized hormone and wellness platform. You will not be handling random urgent care visits or unrelated cases.
