Estimated Hours: Up to 28 hours per week, with flexibility based on school calendars and outreach needs
Compensation & Benefits: $25 per hour + 3% commission on eligible sales

Best known for its Snap Circuits® brand, Elenco empowers educators and students through hands-on STEM learning solutions used in classrooms around the world.

Elenco is seeking a part-time Education Outreach Specialist with an educator-first mindset to support and grow our K–12 education business. This role’s primary focus is supporting schools and educators through outreach, service, and relationship-based sales, ensuring Elenco’s products are aligned with classroom needs and instructional goals. A secondary focus is partnering with the Marketing team to provide education insights related to product innovation, curriculum application, and educator-focused communications, including guidance on social media content and educator engagement strategies.

This hourly, commission-eligible role reports directly to the VP of Sales and is fully remote.

Primary Responsibilities – K–12 Outreach, Service & Sales

  • Engage in proactive K–12 outreach to schools, districts, and educators to build awareness and long-term relationships
  • Serve as a trusted STEM resource, helping educators identify appropriate Elenco solutions for classroom instruction and learning objectives
  • Support new and existing K–12 accounts through consultative guidance, follow-up, and ongoing service
  • Drive sales growth through relationship-based outreach and educator engagement
  • Conduct virtual product demonstrations and informational sessions for educators and administrators
  • Assist schools with product selection, purchasing questions, and implementation support
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activity, account interactions, and opportunities in NetSuite CRM
  • Represent Elenco at select educator conferences, webinars, trade shows, and training events as needed
  • Complete administrative tasks including quotes, account setup, and education pricing communications

Secondary Responsibilities – Marketing Collaboration

  • Provide educator-driven insights to support marketing initiatives related to product innovation and curriculum alignment
  • Contribute feedback on educator-facing content, including classroom applications, training materials, and messaging
  • Support education-focused social media communications by advising on educator engagement and content themes
  • Share field feedback and educator needs to help inform marketing campaigns and positioning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Technology, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience as an educator, STEM coordinator, education specialist, or in K–12 outreach or sales
  • Strong understanding of classroom environments and K–12 instructional needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident supporting sales conversations while maintaining an educator-first approach
  • Self-motivated and effective working independently in a part-time, remote role
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Collaborative team player with a supportive, service-oriented mindset
  • Proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Office applications
