Intelligence Planner
The Opportunity:
With all of the information available today, it takes a skilled intelligence planner to know how to find and interpret the best data to give their clients the right answers. As an intelligence planner, you'll employ intelligence expertise and knowledge to assist in the integration of Defense and National intelligence support capabilities, including collection, analytic and targeting activities, into overarching operational planning functions and efforts across the DoD.
Mission areas for Intelligence Planner assistance include, but are not limited to, development of campaign plans, deliberate planning, crisis management, and time sensitive planning in accordance with the Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES). Additionally, planners assist with red teaming, and intelligence operations feasibility assessments within the planning process.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience providing Intelligence Planning support for developing, coordinating, and overseeing the Joint Planning Process, JP 5.0 Planning, JP 2.0 Intelligence, or the Joint Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (JIPOE)
  • Knowledge of IC and Combatant Command environments
  • Ability to develop high-quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and formal or in formal briefings
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of experience in intelligence planning in lieu of a degree
  • Completion of IPC courses 1 and 2

Nice If You Have:
  • Knowledge of ICD 203/206 analytic tradecraft standards
  • SAMS or JAWS certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
