Job description

Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Task Order Manager supporting the Department of Homeland Security Advanced Computing Branch contract.
This is a part-time remote position.
Responsibilities
  • This position's primary role will be to oversee and monitor work completed by subject matter experts in cybersecurity, quantum sciences, data analytics/artificial intelligence/machine learning, and modeling and simulation.
  • This position will be responsible for providing contract deliverables, including (but not limited to): bi-weekly updates, monthly status reports, customer satisfaction surveys, and transition-in/-out of the task order.

Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Clearance: Must have an active Secret-level clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret clearance and maintain it
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Years of Experience: Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Additional Experience:
  • Ability to manage scope, schedule, and tasking of direct staff; ability to determine and solve resource needs.
  • Ability to manage all tasks and schedules to ensure activities are completed in a timely manner
  • Ability to navigate matrixed technical environments.
  • Ability to build collaborative, responsive
    relationships with federal clients.

Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance: Top Secret
Education: Master's degree
Additional Experience:
  • Familiarity with data sciences, mathematics, computer science, and cybersecurity fields of study
