Mental Health Practitioners is a woman-owned psychiatric practice serving patients across California, Arizona, and Oregon. Our team of 20+ providers is dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate mental health care in a supportive, collaborative, and intimate environment. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a creative and tech-savvy Marketing Coordinator to help us reach more people who need our care and keep our brand consistent across everything we put out into the world.


POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a part-time Marketing Coordinator who is energetic, resourceful, and genuinely excited about social media, content, and using technology to work smarter. This is a great fit for someone currently in school or early in their career who wants hands-on experience supporting a growing healthcare brand. In this role, you will help keep our website fresh, our social media active, and our marketing materials polished and on-brand. You will also support light operations and partnership outreach. The ideal person is curious, organized, comfortable learning new tools quickly, and confident using AI to draft, brainstorm, and streamline everyday work.


This is a part-time, remote position (20 hours per week) with flexible scheduling. Students are welcome and encouraged to apply.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media & Content

  • Plan, create, schedule, and post content across MHPs social media channels (Facebook and Instagram)
  • Draft captions, graphics, and short-form content that reflect MHPs warm, plain-spoken, and destigmatizing voice
  • Use AI tools to brainstorm content ideas, draft copy, and speed up production while keeping a human, on-brand tone
  • Monitor comments and messages and flag anything that needs a clinical or leadership response
  • Track basic engagement metrics and share simple takeaways on what is working


Website & Digital

  • Update and maintain the WordPress website, including text, images, service pages, and blog posts
  • Keep web content accurate, current, and aligned with the MHP brand stylebook
  • Make light design and layout adjustments and troubleshoot small site issues as they come up
  • Help with basic SEO best practices and ensure links, forms, and pages are working correctly


Marketing Materials & Documents

  • Create and format documents, flyers, one-pagers, and simple marketing collateral
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials using MHPs colors, typography, and voice guidelines
  • Organize and maintain shared marketing files, templates, and assets


Partnership Outreach & Operations

  • Support outreach to potential referral sources, community partners, and collaborators
  • Draft and send professional outreach emails and help track responses and follow-ups
  • Provide light operational and administrative support to the marketing and leadership team
  • Help research tools, trends, and opportunities that could support MHPs growth


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Highly tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms and software
  • Strong interest in and working knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and others)
  • Comfortable and experienced using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to support content and everyday tasks
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to tone, grammar, and detail
  • Highly organized with good follow-through and the ability to manage multiple small projects
  • Able to work independently and stay accountable in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional, distraction-free home workspace
  • Must reside in California, Nevada, or Arizona


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress or another website content management system
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Canva, Adobe, or Figma
  • Experience creating content for a brand, organization, club, or small business
