Job description

Industrial Inspection & Analysis is looking for a part-time Recruiter to join their Fire Department Testing team. This is a remote position that will ideally sit in one of the following locations: Charlotte, NC, Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC.


Position Summary

The Recruiter finds skilled and qualified candidates to fill open positions throughout the Fire Department Testing division. In this role the candidate will achieve staffing objectives by recruiting, interviewing, and evaluating potential candidates. They will work with and advise managers on candidates for available various open positions.


Job Responsibilities

  • Knowledge in the Industrial inspection and Fire departments fields recommended.
  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying the company’s plans and objectives. Meeting with management to discuss needs.
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting internet sites and media; providing them with company information, such as career opportunities and benefits and building a good rapport.
  • Determine applicant requirements to be able to create job descriptions.
  • Attract applicants by advertising through internet job boards and other media sources.
  • Determine candidate qualifications by reviewing resumes, interviewing, analyzing responses and verifying references.
  • Coordinates pre-employment screening including background checks, drug testing, etc.
  • Work with Managers and HR partners to coordinate onboarding for new hires.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Education and experienced required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years Employment recruiting experience including Full Cycle recruiting.
  • Knowledge in Industrial Inspection and Fire Department fields.
  • Preferred High Energy and Excellent Communication Skills
  • Professionalism
  • Knowledge of employment law in regards to recruiting
  • Must have strong time management skills
  • Multi-Tasker
  • Proficient in MS software including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proven record of success in recruiting
  • Results Oriented
  • Self-Motivated and Driven to get things done
