Job description

We are seeking a friendly and welcoming Part-time Receptionist to work weekends in our Cedar Falls community.

This position would require you to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7am- 2pm)

Location: Windridge Independent Living

An ideal candidate will have a strong desire to provide a wonderful first impression, create fulfilling lifestyles for the people around them, and takes great pride in the service they provide. Your day-to-day will include (but is not limited to) greeting those who visit, answering calls and relaying messages, respond to emergency response pendants as needed, cleaning guest rooms as needed to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience for guests, and providing services and supplies for residents such as mail, packages, and requests.

You will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with those you serve and work alongside, as well as continue to improve your customer service skills.

What you'll do:

  • Greet coworkers, residents, family members, and guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Cleans guestrooms on an as-needed basis, to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience for guests

  • Answer telephones and relay messages, as needed

  • Respond to emergency response pendants, as needed/required

  • Carry and respond to universal emergency phone, if applicable.

  • Provide services and supplies for residents such as forwarding mail, delivering packages and flowers, and submitting maintenance requests

  • Assists departments with performing miscellaneous administrative tasks as requested

What you'll need:

  • This position requires the ability to work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 7am-2pm)

  • (Required) Valid Drivers license and reliable vehicle

  • (Preferred) Two years of related experience

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

  • Computer experience and general clerical skills

  • Exceptional attendance

  • Servant spirit
