How much do part time real estate jobs pay per year?

As of Jul 31, 2026, the average yearly pay for part time real estate in Wisconsin is $49,065.00, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $38,400.00 and $55,000.00 per year, depending on experience, location, and employer.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Part Time Real Estate position, and why are they important?

To thrive in a Part Time Real Estate role, you need a solid understanding of property market trends, effective sales techniques, and a valid real estate license recognized in your state. Familiarity with real estate CRM software, multiple listing services (MLS), and digital marketing platforms is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, time management, and proactive networking abilities help candidates stand out in this position. These skills are crucial for successfully attracting clients, managing transactions efficiently, and balancing flexible hours with meeting sales goals.

What do part-time real estate agents make?

Part-time real estate agents typically earn commissions based on the sales they close, which can vary widely depending on the market, experience, and sales volume. On average, they may make a few thousand dollars per transaction, but income is often inconsistent and depends on their effort and client base.

Can I be successful as a part-time real estate agent?

Part-time real estate agents can achieve success by leveraging strong sales skills, effective time management, and local market knowledge. Success often depends on building a client base, maintaining consistent communication, and obtaining necessary licensing and certifications. While it may limit income potential compared to full-time agents, dedicated part-time agents can still thrive in the industry.

How much would a real estate agent make on a $300,000 house?

A real estate agent typically earns a commission of about 5-6% of the home's sale price, so on a $300,000 house, they would earn approximately $15,000 to $18,000. This commission is usually split with the brokerage and may be shared with the buyer's agent, so the agent's actual earnings can vary based on their agreement and sales volume.

What does a typical work week look like for someone in a part-time real estate position?

A typical week for a part-time real estate professional often includes a mix of client meetings, property showings, following up on leads, and handling paperwork for active transactions, usually scheduled around your availability and clients’ needs. The workload can fluctuate depending on the season and local market activity, making flexibility and organization essential. Part-time agents may work independently or as part of a brokerage team, attending team meetings or training sessions as needed. This structure allows you to build your real estate career while balancing other personal or professional commitments.

What is a Part Time Real Estate job?

A Part Time Real Estate job typically involves working as a real estate agent or assistant while maintaining a flexible schedule. Part-time agents help clients buy, sell, or rent properties but may handle fewer transactions than full-time agents. This role is ideal for those looking to earn extra income or transition into a full-time real estate career. Licensing requirements vary by state, so it's important to check local regulations. Success often depends on networking, market knowledge, and time management skills.

Can you be a REALTOR as a side hustle?

Yes, a licensed REALTOR can work as a part-time real estate agent, often balancing it with other employment. Success typically requires time management, relevant certifications, and understanding state licensing requirements, which vary by location.

Job description

Are You a High-Energy Leader Ready for a Bigger Opportunity?

We’re looking for a driven, growth-minded leader who thrives on coaching, developing, and holding high performers to a higher standard.

Our agents consistently rank in the top 20%, 10%, and even 1% of our market. Now we’re ready to elevate even further — and we need the right person to help us build the next generation of elite producers.

Real estate experience is NOT required.

Management experience is helpful, but not mandatory.

Yoo Realty Group is a top-producing residential real estate team serving Southern Wisconsin, with agents active across the majority of Wisconsin MLSs. We are highly systemized, organized, and performance-driven.

Our agents produce more than 5x the annual production of our competitors, and we are growing at an exceptional pace.

We are now hiring an Inspirational Sales Manager to support and accelerate that growth.

What This Role Involves

This is an in-office, salaried position with bonus opportunities focused on leadership, training, and accountability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Agent outreach and performance coaching
  • Identifying and improving gaps in our training programs
  • Maintaining and optimizing team systems
  • Recruiting and growth initiatives
  • Developing cutting-edge training content
  • Leading and running impactful sales meetings
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for team agents

Real estate is not a 9–5 career. Occasional after-hours or weekend support for urgent agent needs will be part of the role.

Part-time production alongside your leadership responsibilities is welcomed.

Success in this position requires fully immersing yourself in our technology, culture, systems, and best practices - and then elevating them.

Who You Are

You are:

  • Abundance-minded
  • Naturally motivating and energetic
  • Passionate about coaching (yourself and others)
  • Comfortable holding people accountable
  • Excited to build something bigger than yourself

Our team is ambitious. They’re looking for leadership, clarity, and support to help them achieve their biggest goals.

If you’re ready to step into a role where your leadership directly impacts dozens of careers - we want to hear from you.

Apply today and let’s build the next level together.

Our Tech Stack (Experience a Bonus, Not Required)

  • Follow Up Boss (CRM)
  • Open to Close (Transaction Management)
  • DocuSign
  • ZipForms
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, etc.)
  • Slack (Team Communication)
Compensation:

$100,000 with bonuses

Responsibilities:

Sales Coaching

Your mission: help our agents improve every single day.

Most of our team members are already top producers. Your coaching will range from sharpening lead conversion skills to helping elite agents scale to their next level.

We have a robust library of buyer and seller systems, campaigns, scripts, and templates. You’ll master these resources, monitor agent activity, and ensure consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach agents on scripts, lead conversion, and performance strategy
  • Set aggressive goals, track progress, and drive accountability
  • Create timely sales reports and performance snapshots
  • Monitor production metrics and leaderboards; build action plans for underperformers
  • Conduct 90-day reviews
  • Answer agent questions and provide daily support
  • Oversee lead sources and maximize revenue opportunities
  • Run recruiting efforts (interviews, panels, follow-ups)
  • Lead Mastermind sessions
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of all company systems and processes

This role is about raising standards, increasing production, and building stronger, more profitable agents.

Qualifications:
  • High School or equivalent degree, college degree preferred
  • Currently licensed or in process to license as a real estate agent in the State of WI
  • Must be friendly and personable
  • Must be a team player
  • Must possess high-level sales skills and training
  • Must have a valid Real Estate License
