Job description

Do you have the passion to make a difference in someone's life academically, socially, and behaviorally through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA therapy)? Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are professionals who deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism. RBTs work under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. This position requires lots of energy, and the ability to think outside the box. If you think you would be a good candidate and are excited to learn more about the position, please submit a resume!

Do you have a passion to work with children but are not an RBT? New hires will be expected to complete a 40-hour training, complete in-house training during a probationary period, and complete certification to become a Registered Behavior Technician.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 setting

  • Must have a passion for working with children with disabilities

  • Accurately implements skill acquisition programs and individual treatment plans developed by BCBAs

  • Accurately collects data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the behavior intervention plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans

  • Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.

  • Maintain a safe, positive, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client

  • Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time and be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs from the floor

  • Collaborate, communicate, and assist with the training of clients, parents, and staff.

  • Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines

  • Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation

  • Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families

  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and abide by all HIPAA laws and standards
