We are seeking a part-time Radiologic (X-Ray) Technologist to join our outpatient orthopaedic team. This position offers a predictable daytime schedule with no nights, no call, and no holidays-allowing you to focus on patient care while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Position Highlights

  • Monday - Friday schedule (occasional coverage of walk-in clinic on Saturday/Sunday)
  • Outpatient orthopaedic setting

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging for orthopaedic patients
  • Position patients properly for musculoskeletal imaging studies
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety protocols
  • Work closely with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care
  • Maintain accurate imaging records within the electronic medical record system
  • Assist with clinic workflow and patient preparation as needed
  • Communicate effectively with immediate coworkers as well as those throughout the clinic.

Requirements
Qualifications
Required
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification required.
  • Valid, unrestricted Wisconsin Radiographer license (with no limitations, stipulations, or
  • pending adverse actions).
  • Completed AMA-approved, radiologic technology training (2 year minimum) or associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.

Preferred
  • Experience as an x-ray technologist, preferably in an orthopedic or hospital setting.
  • Proficient in operating x-ray equipment and related technology.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, particularly the musculoskeletal system.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to safely lift and position patients for imaging procedures.
  • Familiar with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as EPIC
  • Competence in using imaging software such as PACS.
