Who You Are:
The Temporary Benefit Quality Assurance Associate is responsible for monitoring and inspecting the accuracy and overall quality of the benefit plan offerings via the HRIS system. This role involves conducting thorough reviews, audits, and assessments of benefit plans and procedures to identify any discrepancies, errors, or opportunities for improvement. The Benefit Quality Assurance Associate collaborates with cross-functional teams, including HR, benefits administration, and systems administration to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy in benefit offerings. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and knowledge of benefits regulations are critical for success in this role.
What You'll Do:
  • Conduct in-depth reviews and audits of benefit plans and procedures via internal benefit system to identify any inconsistencies, errors, or compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess the quality and accuracy of benefit program documentation, including plan documents, summary plan descriptions, enrollment materials, and communication materials.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance procedures, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in benefit plan administration.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy of benefit enrollment, eligibility, and other related data.
  • Collaborate with benefits administration team to address any identified issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist in the resolution of benefit and system related issues.
  • Summarize findings, trends, and recommendations related to benefit quality assurance.
  • Maintain documentation of quality assurance activities, audit findings, and remediation actions taken.
  • Ensure the HRIS system follows the organization's quality standards in preparation of the annual Open Enrollment period.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience in benefits administration, quality assurance, compliance, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan design and administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify discrepancies and errors in benefit programs and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using relevant software applications and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS or benefits administration systems such as PrismHR
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques and experience with data validation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies is beneficial.
  • Professional certifications in benefits administration, compliance, or quality assurance (e.g., CEBS, CQC) are advantageous.
