Job description

Velos is a full-service engineering and technical services company supporting agencies such as the DoD, NASA, and NOAA. As an SBA-certified HUBZone small business, Velos combines agile and highly skilled engineering and technical support-delivering unmatched execution to our customers.

We are looking for highly qualified candidates for an ongoing contract working onsite supporting the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) in Cayce (Columbia), South Carolina

Computer Systems Engineer ( time position)

Qualified candidates are knowledgeable Systems Engineers with 5+years of experience, preferably with DoD and/or other Government agencies setting with knowledge of enterprise data and software and proficiency in C3/Python.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Provide enterprise systems engineering and strategy support with consideration of resiliency, systems of systems, affordability, and accelerated capability delivery. In addition, candidate shall analyze the technical underpinnings of information sharing and architecture to develop the transport, enterprise services, data, application, and mission assurance design tenets for the end-to-end aspect that comprise applications. Shall apply unique aspects of scientific, engineering, and specialty engineering principles and techniques to analyze alternatives and incorporate design features which meets requirements. Shall utilize systematic methods and technical skills to design and guide the development process. Shall apply system security engineering principles in the design and development process. Shall apply iterative software development methodologies and tools to deliver, design, and utilize systems. Shall be versed in python/C3.

Education Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Bachelors or Masters degree
