RICHLAND COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT ONE
COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA 


JOB TITLE:  Seat Time Recovery Support
HOURLY RATE: $15/HR

The Seat Time Recovery Support Staff member is responsible for supervising students participating in the NEST After School Program during seat time recovery sessions. This position ensures students remain engaged in assigned academic work while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment. The individual will accurately monitor, document, and code student attendance in accordance with district and state guidelines and communicate attendance concerns to school administration as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during NEST After School Program seat time recovery sessions.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and productive learning environment.
  • Take, verify, and accurately code student attendance for each session.
  • Monitor student participation and ensure students remain engaged in assigned coursework.
  • Assist with student check-in and dismissal procedures.
  • Communicate attendance discrepancies, behavioral concerns, or program issues to the appropriate administrator.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
  • Perform other duties related to the successful operation of the NEST After School Program as assigned.
