Their duties typically include writing press releases, coordinating media outreach, handling crisis communications, and supporting branding efforts. They work closely with internal teams and external media to ensure the company maintains a positive public profile, but do so for fewer hours than a full-time manager, allowing for a better work-life balance.

A Part Time Public Relations Manager should have strong written and verbal communication skills, a background in public relations or communications, and relevant experience in media relations. Familiarity with PR management tools, media monitoring platforms, and content management systems is often required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, adaptability, and strategic thinking help individuals excel in managing brand reputation and stakeholder relationships. These abilities are crucial for effectively promoting organizational messages and maintaining a positive public image, even within a limited time commitment.
