Sauk City Pet Supplies Plus is adding another Shift Manager!
We need someone who is available on the weekends and is reliable.

This is a part-time role, about 8-15 hours a week.

SUMMARY
To assist the Pet Supply Plus Store Director in establishing and maintain excellent customer service, accountability for the operation of the store insuring maximum sales and profitability through merchandising, inventory, expense control, Human Resources Management, and managing operating costs and shrinkage.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drives store sales by ensuring that all customers are acknowledged, customer projects needs are met, and concerns are resolved quickly
  • Assists in managing total store operations
  • Processes information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system
  • Assists with stocking of pet supplies deliveries and back stock, including building and filling displays
  • Assists in keeping backroom neat and up to best practices standards
  • Assists in handling Associate issues
  • Assist in handling customer issues
  • Assist with general care of animals
  • Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed by all Associates.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

  • Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
