Services Assistant

The Philanthropy department of The League is seeking a dedicated individual to work part-time as the Development & Donor Services Assistant.ย  The efforts of this candidate support donor stewardship, gift processing, database management, event coordination, and fundraising. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic and be motivated to serve our consumers.

Essential Duties/Skills/Responsibilities/Qualifications

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Process and accurately record all gifts and incoming revenue in the donor management system.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Prepare and coordinate donor acknowledgement letters and stewardship communications.

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support the coordination of donor recognition activities.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with planning and implementation of fundraising events and philanthropic initiatives.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate requests for donated auction items, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Serve as department point person for designated fundraising and marketing initiatives, including Write-A-Will Week.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Process and distribute incoming mail and packages.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Prepare department correspondence, mailings, reports, and presentation materials, including donor mailings, annual appeals, and stewardship initiatives.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain inventory of promotional materials, print materials, and department supplies.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Maintain organized electronic and physical department files.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and coordinating departmental activities.ย ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Support department reporting and administrative projects as assigned.ย 

ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Assist with special projects and other assignments that advance the goals of the Philanthropy Department.
