Part-Time Porter/Cleaner MDI Management

MDI Management is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Porter/Cleaner to join our team. This role is Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 AM 12:00 PM, with potential for extended hours on specific projects. You will help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our multi-family properties, ensuring a welcoming environment for residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily property walks to remove litter, debris, and pet waste
  • Clean vacant units thoroughly, including appliances, bathrooms, floors, walls, blinds, windows, counters, and storage areas
  • Assist with unit turns, minor maintenance, landscaping, and other physical tasks as needed
  • Operate property maintenance and cleaning equipment, including power washers, vacuums, brooms, and other tools
  • Maintain and organize shops, garages, storage areas, and cleaning supplies
  • Complete required documentation and communicate supply needs
  • Report or correct safety hazards promptly

Safety & Physical Requirements:

  • Follow all company, local, state, and federal safety rules
  • Use appropriate PPE when handling chemicals or equipment
  • Be aware of hazards including chemicals, pressure washers, sharp tools, ladders, uneven surfaces, insects, and debris
  • Frequent walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Occasional climbing of ladders or elevated surfaces
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
