New Part-Time Personal Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Position

Job Summary

Senior Helpers - Denver is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a part-time Personal Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the Denver Metro area. For three consecutive years, we've been proudly recognized as a Great Place to Work, and we're looking for someone who shares our dedication to making a difference in the lives of seniors. As a CNA, you'll provide essential non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. Your role will involve helping with daily tasks and activities, ensuring our clients' safety, and promoting their independence while respecting their dignity. This part-time role offers flexibility with the potential for additional hours as needed. It's a wonderful opportunity to positively impact the lives of seniors and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Communicate with clients' families to provide updates on their loved one's well-being
  • Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  •  A clean driving record

Requirements

  • MUST have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. MUST show proof of insurance
  • Must have CNA training and certification
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or related role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Ongoing training, seminars, and compliance keep our team sharp & our clients well-served 
  • Active Colorado CNA license in good standing
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist clients with mobility, transfers, standing, bending, and other physical caregiving tasks
