We are hiring a professional shopper for our Curion Facilities Team to assist in the procurement of supplies and groceries for our onsite consumer tests. This position allows you to get out from behind a desk, stretch your legs, and complete tasks out in the local community supermarkets and stores. Each day is a little different with new challenges which keeps your workday stimulating and ever changing. This role allows flexible hours and your travel mileage will be reimbursed.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Order/shop/pick up consumer test product at local grocery stores
  • Interact with store managers
  • Maintain product integrity during delivery to Curion (coolers, blue ice packs, dry ice)
  • Ship to various locations from the Curion office
  • Handle special requests i.e. match date codes
  • Keep detailed inventory of all items procured
  • Enter receipts into expense report system on same day
  • Other tasks as requested by Procurement Manager

Job Qualifications:

  • Articulate, professional, and responsible. Will need to pass clearance for company credit card
  • Well organized with exceptional communication skills
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks
  • Reliable vehicle and car insurance that meets minimum state requirements
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends)
  • Servsafe and/or Food safety knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to use the internet to research consumer products

For Curion Professional Shopper positions located in Deerfield, we offer a starting pay rate range of $17.00-$19.00 based on the qualifications and experience of each individual. This is a part-time position, deemed non-exempt for overtime purposes, and, therefore, is subject to overtime compensation. Curion offers a benefits package for this position which includes a Curion 401(k) Retirement Account and Illinois Paid Sick Leave.
