Many organizations support flexible arrangements for part-time roles, but being transparent about your availability and priorities ensures team alignment and minimizes delays. Building strong relationships and maintaining open lines of communication are key to successfully managing products in a part-time capacity.

As a part-time employee, you work less than 40 hours per week. Your duties depend on your employer and the type of products with which you work. Your responsibilities include formulating strategies and determining budgets for product development and marketing. You create a schedule or timeline for development, testing, and release.
