Come join our team!  We are looking to immediately hire a process server.  We offer competitive pay and benefits.  Salary range from $20-22.00/hour.

Location: New York, NY
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Process Server is responsible for delivering legal documents to residents in accordance with New York State laws and court requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, time management, and the ability to accurately document service attempts and completed service. The Process Server plays a critical role in supporting legal proceedings by ensuring court documents are properly served and documented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve legal documents
  • Maintain compliance with New York State laws, regulations, and court rules governing service of process.
  • Complete affidavits of service and other required legal documentation accurately and timely.
  • Document all service attempts, including dates, times, locations, and outcomes.
  • Communicate professionally with attorneys, courts, and residents
  • Manage assigned routes and prioritize service requests to meet deadlines.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal information.
  • Submit completed paperwork and status updates within established timelines.

Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid New York driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to read and understand legal documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills.
