Position Summary
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting the culinary team in delivering high-quality food for members, guests, tournaments, banquets, and special events. This position plays a key role in supporting kitchen operations by completing food preparation tasks, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following all food safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $15.00 and is tip eligible.
This is a seasonal role from July 10, 2026 and will end on July 11, 2026.
This position will remain open until July 11, 2026.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, measuring, and portioning food items.
  • Assist chefs and cooks with meal preparation and cooking tasks as directed.
  • Prepare food for daily clubhouse dining, golf tournaments, banquets, weddings, and private events.
  • Stock and organize kitchen stations with ingredients and supplies.
  • Label, date, and properly store food products using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
  • Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries.
  • Restock ingredients and supplies throughout service as needed.
  • Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment and kitchen tools.
  • Support opening and closing kitchen duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
