Job description

Description $750 Hiring Bonus for new Team Members plus $50 in gas gift cards during our onboarding process. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of a pool area by actively monitoring swimmers, enforcing pool rules, providing customer service, and performing basic maintenance tasks like cleaning debris, while ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for all guests. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
  • Ensures swimming pools, hot tubs, Cabanas, furniture, and the facilities are clean and safe.
  • Responsible for ensuring the pool area meets the established level of cleanliness to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Maintains towels in an orderly manner
  • Provide guests with towels and track towel count checking in/out
  • Assist guests with inquiries or concerns.
  • Setting up umbrellas, loungers, and other pool furniture.
  • Handles special requests in a manner that ensures guest satisfaction
  • Follows established lost and found procedures
  • Reports any maintenance issues to leadership.
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies ethically and encourages others to do the same
  • Able to address guests who are not complying with pool rules
  • Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE: Required
  • Available to work the required schedule which includes outdoor summer conditions, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed
  • Professional appearance as outlined in the Prairie Band Casino & Resort Team Member Handbook
  • Ability to work well with team members and supervisory staff
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment
Preferred
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Swimming Experience
  • Previous hotel and environmental services experience
  • Prior customer service experience
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, and stoop while performing essential job functions
  • Stand and walk for up to eight hours
  • No known allergic reaction to cleaning chemicals
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke
  • Respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must have basic English communication skills
  • Operate in mentally and physically stressful situations
