Position Overview

Prairie Band Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at our rehabilitation facility in Manassas, Virginia. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Manassas, Virginia. Here, you will work closely with a network of healthcare experts in a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote healing and positivity. You will have the flexibility to choose hours that best fit your schedule, with workdays typically from Monday to Friday. Our facility is equipped with modern therapy tools and resources, which allow you to leverage the latest methodologies in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, focusing on those recovering from injury, surgery, or other medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that may include exercise regimens, manual therapy techniques, and utilization of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and promote mobility.
  • Regularly monitor patient progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
  • Document all patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers on best practices for recovery, as well as how to use prescribed assistive devices effectively.
  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development through workshops, seminars, and relevant community engagement.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a varied patient demographic, including children and adults facing challenges due to injuries, surgeries, chronic pain, and other medical conditions. As a Physical Therapist here, your work will make a significant difference in the lives of these individuals, guiding them through their rehabilitation journey with personalized attention and care.

Qualifications
  • Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Possess a valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and caregivers.
  • Show proficiency in computerized documentation and basic word processing tasks.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of our patients and the facility.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in home care settings is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
