Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a (Part-Time) Power BI Developer to join our team supporting the Defense Health Agency in the Northern Virginia Area.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Public Trust Clearance required (Secret preferred)
  • Part-Time (3-5 hours per day during standard business hours)
  • Remote position (seeking local candidates only, as occasional onsite work may be required in Northern Virginia with short notice)

The Power BI Developer supports enterprise data analytics and reporting solutions that enable mission-critical decision-making across the Defense Health Agency. This role is responsible for designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions that provide visibility into operational performance, trends, and organizational metrics. The position directly supports program objectives by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, security, and availability of enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Develop data models, relationships, and calculated measures using DAX.
  • Perform data transformation and integration using Power Query and related tools.
  • Connect and integrate data from multiple sources to support enterprise reporting.
  • Optimize performance and scalability of dashboards and data models.
  • Support development of automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Validate data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions.
  • Provide technical support for reporting solutions and resolve data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align reporting deliverables with mission needs.
  • Support trend analysis, performance tracking, and portfolio visibility initiatives.
  • Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and reporting processes.

Part-Time Availability Requirements:
The role is part-time, with an expectation of 3-5 hours of work per day during standard business hours (9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST).
Qualifications
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree with five (5+) years of relevant experience or twelve (12+) years of related experience.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports required.
  • Strong experience with data modeling, DAX, and Power Query required.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources required.

Preferred:
  • Secret Clearance preferred.
  • Experience supporting DoW or Defense Health Agency environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Knowledge of SQL and enterprise data environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
