Job description

Job Summary/Overview
This position will work within the stands and drives cells. The primary focus of this position will be on assembling components for conveyors using a variety of hand tools.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time position working 25 hours per week on 1st shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Performs conveyor assemblies or sub assemblies from work orders or blueprints.
  • Works in a safe manner complying with all safety procedures.
  • Maintains clean and safe work area following 5S procedures as required.
  • Inspects finished product for defects and performs quality checks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer, measurement, and math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and adjust priories to reflect changing needs or job demands.
  • Attention to detail.

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to safely lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
  • 1+ year of assembly experience preferred.

Compensation
$18 - 20+ based on experience.
