What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, government location policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an armed patrol post.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and assist with controlling entry and movement of visitors, staff, and contractors in accordance with location requirements.
  • Support public-facing operations by interacting professionally with employees, visitors, and community members, and assist law enforcement and/or first responders during incidents when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
