HOURS: Monday - Friday 7:00AM - 2:00 PM
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The garage porter is the first and last impression for each person that attends the property. This vital team member must possess a friendly disposition, the ability to problem solve and create a plan while having great attention to detail. The garage porter works to complete all groundskeeping tasks as deemed necessary by their supervisor. Those who are great team players, but able to work independently thrive in this position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TEAM MEMBER:
  • Maintain cleanliness of the garage and overall curb appeal for the property
  • Assure the garage and/or parking areas are clean including outside areas around the commercial property where applicable
  • Sweep and maintain the parking facility - Keeping it free of debris, paper, glass, etc.
  • Clean elevators, removing all hand prints, debris, etc.
  • Ensure garage common areas stay clean and presentable throughout the day
  • Clean glass surfaces throughout shift
  • Complete high dusting of the window areas and lighting fixtures
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Report items that need to be addressed by management and/or the engineering team
  • Ensure completion of daily checklist
  • Complete other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to pass background and drug testing
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop and reach several times through a 4-8-hour shift
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Previous porter/cleaning experience preferred
