2. Negotiate and provide legal review of contracts and insurance matters. Make recommendations regarding contract language, contract terms, contract consideration and contract provisions to protect the interest of CNA. Prepare, draft, review and advise leadership on a wide variety of contractual matters that address the legal aspects of business relationships.
3. Conduct research and analysis in support of corporate projects involving legal, regulatory, policy, legislative and national and homeland security expertise.
4. Lead special projects as assigned for the Office of General Counsel.
5. Draft and review legal and policy documents and correspondence. Work with outside counsel on litigation and other matters.
6. Represent CNA at conferences and prepare project reports and briefings associated with conference attendance.
7. Liaise with officials and organizations - both domestic and international - from government, academic, and corporate sectors, as well as other key research institutes and not-for-profits, in support of CNA initiatives.

9. Perform other duties as assigned.
