Job description

Description:

The primary duties and responsibilities of a Part-time Park Police Officer include the prevention and suppression of crime, the investigation of offenses and the arrest of offenders, the protection of life and property, and the preservation of the peace.

The City of Florissant is accepting applications for the position of Part-time Park Police Officer


Rate: $33.00/hour

Requirements:

Applicants must be a U.S. citizen; must be POST licensed; and, have either a high school diploma or G.E.D. Associates Degree or a minimum of 64 hours of college credit is preferred. Applicants must pass the written, oral, physical agility, background investigation, polygraph, psychological, pre-employment physical and drug screen exams.


Not to exceed 28 hours weekly.
