Summary

CHENEGA RELIABLE SERVICES, LLC.

Las Vegas, NV

The Landscaper maintains grounds of industrial, commercial or public property such as but not limited to: buildings, camp and picnic grounds, parks, playgrounds, greenhouses, and athletic fields, and repairs structures and equipment, performing the following tasks: cut grass, using walking-type or riding mowers, trim hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools, prunes shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools, sprays lawn, shrubs, and trees with fertilizer or insecticide.


Responsibilities
  • Use  a variety of hand tools to spread dirt, gravel, or sand; dig holes and trenches; dress excavated areas; erect signs and guard rails; cutting trees, shrubs, grass, weeds, and other vegetation; and clean structures and equipment.
  • Lift and/or carry  heavy objects such as riprap stone, boxes, and machinery weighing up to 80 pounds.
  • Assist with higher skilled levels by carrying materials and supplies, building simple objects and forms, and performing necessary heavy manual labor associated with the activity requiring the higher skilled levels.
  • Use a variety of hand tools common to manual labor such as picks, shovels, tamps, wheelbarrows, chainsaws, rakes, and brooms.
  • Clean equipment, buildings, recreation facilities, structures, and grounds.
  • Maintain and repair fencing to include but not limited to: chain link and barbed wire.
  • Ensure work orders when complete are properly filled out and returned to work management
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of prior experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to work with hands and knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used in the field.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trades involved.
  • Posses skills in the care and use of the tools and equipment in the trades involved
  • Ability lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q-level clearance.
