Salary Range: $11.19 to $18.21
This position is open to everyone, no experience required.

Work as a laborer to assist in beautifying and maintaining city facilities to reflect the best of the Hall of Fame City. This is an opportunity to learn and gain valuable skills.

Job Description
Shift: This is a part-time and seasonal position with variable daily work hours. Seasonal Employment is available from May 1 through September 30.
Distinguishing Features of the Class: This position is available in various City Service Departments.
This position requires heavy physical work. Therefore, employees in this class must be in good physical condition. Repetitive work is expected to be performed. Duties must be performed efficiently.
Examples of Work: Serves as a laborer. Responsible for various general laborer duties. Job duties is dependent upon the department and seasonal assignment. Responsible for personal safety practices.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Physical ability to work outdoors in extreme and adverse conditions is a must. Ability to carry out oral and written instructions with minimum detail. Must possess adequate communication skills and deal tactfully with citizens of the public.
Acceptable Experience and Training: Minimum age is generally 16 years old. A work permit is required for students ages 17 and under.
