Role Overview:
Could you be our next Photographer? Globe Life is looking for a Photographer to join the team!
This position is responsible for capturing and delivering photography assets that tell the story of the Globe Life brand, from headshots and events to executive moments, both internally and externally. The Photographer will coordinate all aspects of production with the Director of Social Media, collaborate with content creators to support graphic and video needs, and work alongside internal departments and subsidiary leadership to highlight the opportunities that come with being part of Globe Life. This individual will engage professionally with a wide range of individuals, from agents to executive leadership, while continuously identifying opportunities to innovate photography assets within brand guidelines.
This is a hybrid position located in McKinney, TX (WFH Monday & Friday, In Office Tuesday-Thursday).
What You Will Do:
  • Capture and edit images for various purposes.
  • Plan and execute photoshoots at a variety of locations.
  • Coordinate with Digital Media Content Creators on events to ensure correct photography is captured.
  • Ensure upload of photos to photo hosting site for use online.
  • Curate collections of photos to be used by our field force and corporate teams for social media purposes.
  • Attend various events to capture and highlight key moments.
  • Collaborate with and mentor other individuals on the social media team to improve photography skills.
  • Set up and maintain various project requests from planning to delivery.

What You Can Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably Photography from four-year college or university.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in Photography, digital content creation, or digital marketing.
  • A passion for social media and digital marketing industry.
  • A strong eye for composition, creative vision, and proficiency with cameras, lighting, and editing software.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or InDesign.
  • Knowledge of photography techniques, tools, and principles.
  • Enthusiastic about taking initiative on new projects.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Experience with Adobe Light Room and Photoshop.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, art teams, and subjects.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the final images meet high standards.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different client needs.
  • Must be able to travel frequently to corporate events as business needs dictate.
  • A portfolio of work must accompany application submission in order to be considered.
