Job description

Part-time Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient working evening shift with every 3rd weekend.  AMAZING SCHEDULE! Work 24-30 hours per week.  

As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.

SCHEDULE

  • Evening position 1:30pm-10 pm.
  • No holidays or weekends.
  • No overnights or call, currently.
  • Evening Differential paid on top of base rate!

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.   
  • Will consider candidates with provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA).

Experience:

  • 2-3 years pharmacy technician, inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.

Skills:

  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff.
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests. 
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule. 
  • Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).

  • Evening Differential available.
