CURRENTLY HIRING PEDIATRIC AND ADULT HOME INFUSION NURSES IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES: HUDSON, MORRIS, PASSAIC, BERGEN, MERCER AND OCEAN. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, educate (patient, family, caregivers when needed), and administer direct patient care for infusion and related therapies. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct skilled nursing services to patients according to Physician orders, policies & procedures, and in accordance with RN scope of practice. The Registered Nurse is responsible to contact patients, family members, physicians, pharmacies, or even emergency medical services as and when needed. The Registered Nurse is responsible for adhering to the policies and procedures of the Integrated Home Infusions, Infusion industry standards, and in compliance with OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
Responsibilities
  • Assure quality care by adhering to the Policy & Procedures of Empower Nursing Solutions and Infusion industry standards.
  • Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)
Requirements
  • Active CPR Certificate
  • Nursing Diploma from an Accredited Nursing Program
  • State issued or approved for use within the state and active Registered Nurse
  • NJ License without any sanctions or restrictions
  • Proof of Immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
  • Proof of a negative PPD or QuantiFERON upon hire
  • 1-year of experience placing Peripheral IVs and performing Nursing assessments
  • A minimum availability of one day per week which can include weekdays, weekends, daytime, and evenings
  • Nursing positions requires nurses to visit patients at home and administer IV therapies and teach patients how to administer medications on their own
