Job Summary
We are seeking motivated, part-time Personal Trainers to join our growing gym team. This role is ideal for trainers who are not only passionate about fitness, but also business-minded, driven, and excited about building relationships with clients.
Our trainers play a key role in both coaching clients and helping grow the business through member engagement, retention, sales, and lead conversion. This is a part-time opportunity with strong potential to grow into a larger leadership role for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, sales-oriented, and motivated to build a successful client base while delivering outstanding training experiences. Candidates should have strong sales experience or the ability to confidently convert leads into long-term clients while contributing to membership growth and overall business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fitness assessments to understand each clients current fitness level and goals
  • Develop customized workout programs and training plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members and clients
  • Actively generate, convert, and retain personal training clients through outreach, referrals, and member engagement
  • Utilize strong sales and communication skills to convert leads into committed clients and ongoing memberships
  • Help drive membership growth and overall business growth through exceptional customer service and relationship-building
  • Educate clients on proper exercise techniques, equipment usage, and healthy lifestyle habits
  • Provide a positive, motivating, and results-driven training experience
  • Support gym promotions, events, and membership growth initiatives
  • Ensure all gym safety standards and procedures are followed
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current (or in process) Personal Trainer or Fitness Instructor certification
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong sales experience, lead conversion ability, or willingness to learn sales techniques is highly preferred
  • Proven ability or desire to help drive membership growth and business development
  • Self-motivated, professional, and business-minded attitude
  • Knowledge of exercise technique, physiology, nutrition, and body mechanics preferred
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Passion for fitness, personal growth, and helping others succeed
