We proudly serve multiple markets including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Columbia, Asheville, and Greenville. We are a third-generation, family-owned and operated company, committed to quality craftsmanship and long-term customer relationships. At Joyce, we take pride in manufacturing the majority of our own products, allowing us to deliver superior quality while supporting the communities we serve.

Position Overview

Joyce is looking for a full-time Event Marketing Team Lead to help drive lead generation and support our team of part-time Brand Ambassadors.

This is a hands-on, production-focused role. Your primary responsibility will be working events, engaging homeowners, generating leads, and setting qualified appointments. As a Team Lead, you will also help provide leadership and consistency in the field by supporting newer team members, reinforcing best practices, and helping the team perform at a high level.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales and event marketing, can lead by example, and is interested in developing into a future management role as Joyce continues to grow.

Compensation

This role includes a competitive base salary plus uncapped performance-based commission.

Compensation Includes:

  • Base salary: $40,000
  • Expected total earnings: $60,000–$70,000+ annually (base salary + commission)
  • $500/month car allowance
  • $100/month cell phone allowance

What You’ll Do

  • Generate leads and set qualified appointments with homeowners at events
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual lead generation and appointment goals
  • Actively engage event attendees and create interest in Joyce products
  • Serve as a strong example for part-time Brand Ambassadors in the field
  • Help train and onboard new team members on event approach, customer engagement, and lead generation
  • Provide real-time coaching and support to Brand Ambassadors during events
  • Help maintain energy, professionalism, and accountability at events
  • Assist with event setup, teardown, and execution
  • Communicate event results, team feedback, and opportunities for improvement to management
  • Help ensure proper staffing and coverage at assigned events
  • Support the Event Marketing Manager with additional field needs as the market grows

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You Have

  • Experience in event marketing, retail sales, canvassing, direct sales, or lead generation
  • A strong personal track record in a performance-driven or goal-oriented environment
  • Confidence approaching and engaging new people
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to lead by example
  • Interest in coaching, training, and developing others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently while also supporting a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends based on event schedules
  • Ability to lift and set up tents, tables, banners, and basic event equipment
  • Interest in growing into a larger leadership or management role

Benefits

  • Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • PTO and vacation time
  • $500/month car allowance
  • $100/month cell phone allowance
  • 401(k) with a 25% uncapped company match
  • Flexible schedule
  • Employee discount on home improvement services
  • Employee Referral Bonus Program

Why Joyce

  • Over 71 years of proven success as a third-generation, family-owned company
  • Opportunity for advancement as Joyce continues expanding into new markets
  • Clear opportunity to develop toward an Event Marketing Manager role
  • High-quality, American-made products
  • Robust marketing support and brand recognition
  • A team-oriented environment focused on growth and long-term success
