Pediatric Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time & Part-Time  Home Health

$31–$36 an hour

Registered Nurse (RN) Qualifications & Responsibilities:
  • Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance
  • Pediatric home health experience preferred, but not required. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
  • Provide quality skilled one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in a home setting for 8–12 hour shifts, allowing them to remain with their families instead of an inpatient facility
  • Care for clients with serious illnesses, medical complexities, disabilities, or those recovering from injuries or extensive surgery
  • Assess client conditions during each visit, including monitoring vital signs, seizure activity, and providing care for gastrostomy tubes (G-tubes), tracheostomies, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilators
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care
  • Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
