Description
Assesses, plans and implements the nursing care of residents within the skilled nursing setting with the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the residents between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by CNAs and supportive staff members. Participates in resident and family teaching. Maintains role as resident advocate with a focus on the facility's mission. Ability to interact with all customers (co-workers, patients, families, physicians, vendors, etc.) of COURTYARD with hospitality and the highest standards of customer service, exhibiting professionalism and a spirit of teamwork. Each associate should have an understanding that he or she represents Courtyard and should act accordingly and in a manner that demonstrates respect and pride for this organization.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
1. Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
2. Current LPN licensure in the State of Louisiana.
3. Current BCLS certification.
4. Minimum of six months to one year's work experience.
