Job description

This contract role calls for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a focus in psychiatric and mental health nursing, supporting patients within a dynamic and diverse care environment.
Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, valid RN license with unrestricted practice authority
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Psychiatric RN (inpatient or outpatient acceptable)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of psychiatric nursing procedures, crisis intervention, and care planning
  • BLS certification required; CPI or equivalent crisis intervention training preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused demeanor and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct nursing care and monitor mental health status for psychiatric patients
  • Administer medications, assist with therapies, and implement individualized treatment plans
