A Part Time Patient Access Representative is a healthcare professional who assists patients with the registration process, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, and collecting payments, typically on a part-time basis. They serve as the first point of contact for patients entering a medical facility and help ensure that all necessary paperwork and information are accurately collected. Their role is essential for maintaining smooth operations at hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare settings, and they often interact with patients both in person and over the phone. Excellent communication and organizational skills are important for this job.
