Position Description
DEFINITION:
Provide instruction, in class and lab settings, to students seeking professional development in the area(s) of automotive window tinting, paint protection film (PPF), vinyl wrap installation, and automotive customization.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
  • Receives general supervision from Director of Workforce Development of Continuing Education and/or Workforce Training Coord
  • Exercises no supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
ESSENTIAL AND OTHER IMPORTANT FUNCTIONS STATEMENT:
Essential and other important responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
Essential Functions:
? Provide classroom and online instruction to students
? Prepare lesson plans and schedule classroom activities
? Develop and prepare supplement materials to enhance lessons
? Develop and prepare tests to evaluate student performance; grade record individual scores
? Prepare students for industry recognized credentials and assessments
? Provide classroom demonstrations on various technology; develop assignments to provide
hands on experience as appropriate
? Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
? Maintain and submit all required paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely fashion, including
but not limited to: class rosters, pay sheets, attendance forms and grade rosters
? Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures related to required teaching area and
in accordance with CFCC policies and guidelines
Other Important Functions:
? Ensure the adherence to safe and appropriate work practices and procedures
? Help maintain an inventory of equipment and supplies
? Assess the relevance and impact of various lessons and recommend improvements as needed
? Oversee and participate in field studies and assignments; travel with students to provide
assistance and instruction as appropriate
? Provide guest speakers or field experts where appropriate
? Stay aware of new developments with the exams and preparation
? Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of:
? Organizational and management practices as applied to the planning, analysis and evaluation
of programs, policies and operational needs.
? Principles and procedures of academic and instructional program development and
administration in the area of assignment.
? Principles and practices of curriculum development and instructional strategies.
? Current trends, research and development in the area of assignment.
Ability To:
? Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of
work
? Communicate concisely and respectfully, both orally and in writing
? Interpret and apply CFCC goals, objectives, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
? Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
o Making observations
o Reading and writing
o Communicating with others
o Operating assigned equipment
o Handling varied tasks simultaneously
? Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and
responsibilities, which may include the following:

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES
Minimum Education/Training:
? High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum Experience:
? At least three (3) years of professional experience in automotive tinting, vinyl wrap installation, paint protection film installation, or closely related field.
Preferred Education/Training, Experience, Skills:
? Industry certifications related to window tinting, vinyl wrap installation, or paint protection film
? Experience with commercial fleet graphics and vehicle branding installations
? Familiarity with industry brands, tools, and software commonly used in wrap and tint applications
? Some previous teaching experience
