Job description

Welcome to a medical center where you're the center of attention.
Pay range:
Hourly
$49.00 - $87.12
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for our Perioperative Care Unit (PCU). This unit is responsible to prepare patients for surgical procedures. Patient populations include Cardio/Thoracic, Gynecology/Oncology, Bariatric, Orthopedics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and General Surgery.
Per diem
Day shift 0530-1400 / Evening shift 1300-2130 /Sat/Sun 0530-1400
3 8-hour shifts or combination of 4, 8, 10, & 12 hour shifts per 4 week schedule
1 summer holiday call shift and 1 winter holiday call shift required
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington. (May be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license.)
  • 5+ years recent acute care nursing experience required.
  • Healthcare provider CPR Certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • Recent Pre-op/Phase II nursing experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
  • Note - RNs hired into units that require a competency in cardiac rhythm interpretation will be required to take a rhythm assessment in their first week. This will include standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias and paced rhythms.
