The Physician Assistant (PA-C) diagnoses and treats medical dermatology conditions. The Physician Assistant will perform physical examinations, perform basic dermatology procedures, order laboratory tests and prescribe treatment plans and medications. The PA will be supported by dedicated medical assistants/scribes. The PA can expect to maintain collaborative relationships with supervising physicians while also exercising autonomy.

Salary:

$150,000 guaranteed + productivity-based compensation

Duties:

  • Complete comprehensive patient assessments; diagnose dermatology conditions
  • Perform procedures including liquid nitrogen, biopsies and excisions
  • Order and interpret lab tests and biopsy reports
  • Prescribe medications
  • Direct and mentor staff
  • Prescribe treatments including UVB/PUVA phototherapy, Excimer and PDT therapies

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physician Assistant in MN
  • Current PA-C (NCCPA) certification
  • 2 years’ experience working as a PA in dermatology
  • Experience using a dermatoscope
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Schedule: Part-time or Full-time 3-4 days per week
